Recommended Use & Tips
• Recommended clay thickness:
1–4 mm for most earring designs.
For petal designs, try using clay under 1 mm for a more refined, lightweight finish.
Thicker clay creates softer details, while thinner clay may be more delicate after baking.
• For best cutting results:
Dip the cutter edge lightly in cornstarch or water if the clay feels sticky.
• Clean cuts tip:
Press the cutter straight down firmly and evenly. Avoid twisting, as this may distort the shape.
• Before baking:
Remove excess clay around the edges gently with a blade or needle tool for a cleaner finish.
• Baking tip:
- Follow the temperature and time recommended by your clay brand.
- For best results, use a separate oven thermometer, as oven dials can be inaccurate.
- Allow pieces to cool completely in the oven before handling to avoid cracking or breakage.
